Product Description
◆ The KinFire deluge valve skid system for combined pressure control is suitable for the flow control of large fire protection systems. The system includes deluge valves with internal water diversion control pipelines (filters, ball valves, accelerator stop valves, etc.), upstream and downstream valves, bypass and test butterfly valves, anti-corrosive pipelines and frames. It can start the deluge valve by electricity, hydraulic pressure, air pressure, electricity-pneumatic signals and other control methods. When being opened, the valve reduces the upstream high pressure to a downstream pre-set low pressure, so that the flow rate conforms to the system design. It is widely used in ships, offshore drilling platforms, LNG, refineries and oil tank farms.
Operating Principle
◆ The central control system automatically or manually activates the solenoid valve to quickly release the water in the upper cavity of the deluge valve. The diaphragm is opened by the upstream pressure in the valve cavity, so that the deluge valve opens, and the water enters the fire-fighting water pipe network for spraying. When the fire alarm is lifted and it is needed to close the solenoid valve (if the solenoid valve has the manual reset function, the on-site manual reset can only be done after the safety is confirmed), the upstream water pressure enters the valve cavity through the pressure pipe, and the water pressure in the cavity increases to reset the diaphragm and close the deluge valve.
